Land Acknowledgement

I respectfully acknowledge that the land on which I live and practice is the traditional and ancestral territory of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute Peoples. These Tribes have stewarded this land for generations, long before colonization, and continue to contribute to the strength and resilience of their communities today.

As a therapist, I recognize the lasting impact of historical and intergenerational trauma on Indigenous peoples, and I commit to practicing with cultural humility, respect, and a willingness to listen and learn.

This acknowledgement is just one small step in honoring the history, cultures, and contributions of Native communities—past, present, and future.
